Winnipeg Police responded to the New Lodge Hotel at the corner of Notre Dame Avenue and Maryland Street around 11:25 pm on Friday, October 22, 2021, for the report of a fight.

Police say that the a dispute between family members escalated into a physical fight. One person was taken to hospital in unknown condition.
Police believe alcohol played a role in the incident.
Two people were taken into custody. At this point in the investigation police say that people involved in the altercation do not want to press charges.
