Winnipeg Police Service responded in force to what they describe as a well-being check in the 300 block of Hargrave Street.
Five police patrol units responded to the high-rise apartment building with lights and sirens activated just before 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
The officers rushed into the building with two remaining in the lobby talking to a woman who was visbibly shaken and the others entering an elevator.
Minutes later an adult male was taken to a waiting patrol unit in handcuffs. While on the way to the car the male fell to the ground with a loud thud.
A second male was brought out of the building in handcuffs and placed in a second partol unit.
Winnipeg Police Cadets also responded to the scene and escorted the woman from the lobby to their vehicle.
In an email to News4 a Winnipeg Police spokesperson said no arrests were made.
