As News 4 told you last week police were called to the report of an injured male in the area of Sargent Avenue and McMicken Street on August 18, 2017, just after 11:00 pm.
When they arrived on scene they found an adult male with stab wounds. The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition

On August 27, 2017, the victim died of his injuries. He has been identified by police as 18-year-old Tyler William Ranville
The Homicide unit is now continuing to investigate the case and ask anyone with information that could help them to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477)
