On-going homicide investigations
Winnipeg Police have released the identity of two homicide victims from earlier this week.
On February 6, 2017 around 11:15pm police responded to the 500 block of Magnus Avenue where they found a male victim suffering from multiple injuries.

He was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
The victim has been identified as 28 year old Canon Franklin BEARDY from Winnipeg.
In another case News4 told you about emergency crews responded to Powers and Aberdeen where they found a man had been shot. Hs was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died of this injuries.

Police have identified the victim in the shooting as 24 year old Bryer James PRYSIAZNIUK-SETTEE.
