Winnipeg Police Service executed a search warrant on a Dayton Drive home on Saturday evening, April 1, 2023.
Tactical Support Team officers hung onto the outside of a police SUV as a line of marked and unmarked police vehicles and an ambulance made their way to a home in the 100 block.
Once outside the house officers quickly entered. Several people were taken into custody.
In an email to News 4 police say that a 47-year-old Winnipeg man is facing charges for his alleged involvement of Possession of a Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine and Possession of Firearn, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order.
The accused was released on an undertaking as mandated by the criminal code. The other people taken into custody were released without charges.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
