Police raid Furby Street home, find firearms and drugs

A 36-year-old female is facing a number of weapons and drug charges after Winnipeg Police raided a home in the 600 block of Furby Street on Tuesday, October 9, 2018.

Officers from the West District Community Support Unit and the Tactical Support Team searched the residence and found an SKS semi-automatic rifle, a restricted high-capacity magazine with 18 rounds, a telescopic baton, Composite knuckles and 1 gram of methamphetamine.

The suspect was released on a promise to appear.
