Police pursuit ends in rollover and arrest for robbery

Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old male from Sandy Bay First Nation after he led them on a high-speed pursuit on Wednesday night, November 29, 2017.

It all began around 10:00 pm after the suspect robbed a business in the 1000 block of Keewatin Street. Police say that at the time of the robbery the suspect hid his face, demanded money and was holding what employees felt was a firearm under his clothes. The suspect got into an SUV and made off with cash from the robbery.
