Fallen Police and Peace officers will be honoured on Sunday, September 29, 2019 during the Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day.
The ceremony being held on the south grounds of the Manitoba Legislative Building will honour the hard work, dedication and sacrifices police and peace officers endure.
“Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day is an opportunity for Manitobans to express their appreciation for the police and peace officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their communities,” said Justice Minister Cliff Cullen.
The event will begin at 11:00 am.
