Winnipeg police have released surveillance images of an adult male suspect in connection to a sexual assault on a 19-year-old woman on a Winnipeg Transit bus.
The incident happened around 11:15 am on June 17, 2023. The victim was seated on the bus when the suspect sat down beside her. The male proceeded to touch the woman’s lower body in an unwanted sexual manner.
Police say that when the victim got off the bus the suspect followed her off but walked away in a different direction.
Investigators from the Sex Crimes Unit are releasing surveillance images of the suspect and ask anyone with information on the mans identity to call (204) 986-2987 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-8477.
