Police are searching for an unknown male who allegedly attacked a woman while she was walking near Elizabeth Road and De Bourmont Avenue early Saturday morning, January 21, 2023.

Investigators say that the suspect choked the woman in her 40s from behind and then pulled her to the ground where she lost consciousness. When she regained consciousness she fought off the attacker and he fled on foot. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Officers are looking for a male standing about 5’8″ tall with an average build. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants and black gloves. He wore a black toque, a hoodie that was up and a face mask.
