Homicide detectives investigating the death of Gerald Hamelin on Atlantic Avenue on October 11, 2020, are looking for help from area residents and business owners.

Investigators are asking everyone with any kind of video surveillance system within the Atlantic Avenue and powers Street area as far as Jefferson avenue to check their security cameras for anything that may help them with the case.

Hamlin had been found suffering serious injuries around 7:30 am in the 400 block of Atlantic Avenue. He was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
