Winnipeg Police are looking for an adult male who allegedly grabbed a child walking to school on Thursday morning, November 17, 2022, in the 600 block of St. Matthews Avenue.
Police say that the 11-year-old victim was approached by a stranger who offered him candy. When the child refused the man grabbed his arm. The victim was able to break free and run away but the suspect chased him attempting to grab him again. As the victim made it to the school the suspect ran away in the opposite direction.
The suspect has been described as an Indigenous male with a medium build and a white beard. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and had a white striped hat.
