RCMP in Selkirk are looking for a female suspect after she robbed lockport area business.
Police say that just before 7:00 pm the suspect entered the business and tried to steal several items. When she was confronted by staff she threatened them with a knife.
Investigators say a physical altercation took place and the employee was injured.
The suspect took off but she has been identified as 28-year-old Tiffany Batenchuk from Winnipeg. A warrant for her arrest has been issued.
Police are warning the public not to approach her as she is considered armed and dangerous.
