On Thursday, May 6, 2021, a male walked into a gas bar in the 200 block of Madison Street and ask the employee for cigarettes. The worker was getting the cigarettes when the male pulled out a gun and “shoved it in the enployee’s face,” according to police.
The male suspect grabbed the cigarettes and fled.
The 22-year-old employee was not physically injured during the incident.
Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit say that no arrests have been made at this time but they are looking for the suspect. The suspect is described as standing 6’0″ with a slim build. He was dressed in black with his hoody over his head and was wearing a black face mask.
