Police need help identifying man

Winnipeg Police Service is looking for help in locating a man that was involved in suspicious in the last half of March that involved elderly people.

According to police the man would approach elderly adults while they were shopping and had a conversation that revealed personal information about the elderly adults.

It happened between March 11 and March 31, 2017 and investigators say that so far there are three known elderly peopl that spoke to the suspect. Police say the conversations all took place in various grocery store chains in north and south Winnipeg   

The male is described as Caucasian/Metis, 5’8″ – 6″ in height, 45 – 50 years old, short, dark coloured hair. He was unshaven at the time of the incidents.

Investigators are asking that anyone with information about the suspect to contact then at 204-986-2857 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS(8477).
