Homicide detectives have arrested a 43-year-old female in connection to the April 18, 2022, death of Ira Hayes Disbrowe.
Disbrowe was found suffering from a gunshot wound at a residence in the 700 block of Sargent Avenue.
On July 6, 2022, officers went to the Women’s Correctional Centre in Headingley and charged Samantha Lee Bruyere with Second Degree Murder for her alleged involvement. Bruyere was already in custody on unrelated charges. She remains in custody.
