Winnipeg Police have laid charges in connection to a homicide on Salter Street on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
Officers had been called to the area around 1:10 am for the report of an assault. A 17-year-old male and male in his 30s were found suffering injuries and taken to hospital. The teen later died from his injuries.
Police have identified the victim as Andy Joseph McKay.
The other male was treated for the injuries he sustained. On Friday, July 30, 2021, he was charged.
Clayton Marcano, 39 if facing charges for his alleged involvement of Secon Degree Murder.
Marcano was detained in custody.
