Around 2:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2022, an officer with the Winnipeg Police Service was involved in a shooting in Windsor Park.
Police have released very little information regarding the incident except to say that one man was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba (IIU) was notified of the shooting and has taken over responsibility for the investigation.
