A shooting Sunday June 25, 2017 in the 500 block of Sherbrook Street has police blocking the lane between Maryland and Sherbrook while they investigate the incident.
It happened around 10:00 pm just south of Sargent behind the Safeway store. A 36 year old male was critically wounded after being shot in the upper body. He was taken to hospital.
The man’s current condition is not known.
Police say that the shooting does not appear to be random
