Police investigating Sherbrook Street stabbing

Winnipeg police were called to a home in the 400 block of Sherbrook Street early Saturday morning for the report of a woman who had been stabbed.

When police arrived on the scene they located a 43-year-old female suffering serious injuries. Officers provided emergency medical care and used a tourniquet and chest seal to help stabilize the victim. She was taken to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.
