Norway House RCMP have arrested a 27-year-old male in connection to the death of a 54-year-old man.

Norway house is just over 800 kilometres north of Winnipeg.

Police say that on Saturday March 30, 2019 they were called to a home in the northern community for the report of a disturbance. When officers arrived they found the victim in medical distress. He was taken to the nursing station but died shortly afterwards.

Dakota Walker from Norway House has been charged with Manslaughter and detained in custody.

RCMP continue to investigate.
