Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating after a deceased male was found in a Main Street hotel having suffered severe injuries.
Police say they began their investigation when a man in his thirties showed up in the hospital with a serious injury. When officers talked to the man he told them that there might be another man injured in the hotel.
Investigators have identified the deceased victim as 40-year-old Carl George Wescoupe of Winnipeg.
Police continue to investigate. No arrests have been made.
