Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of an assault on Main Street just north of Dufferin Avenue around 11:15 pm Saturday, June 20, 2020.
When officers arrived they found an adult male lying on the sidewalk.
Paramedics treated the victim on scene then transported him to hospital in stable condition.
In an email to News 4 police say that no arrests have been made at this time.
The investigation continues.
