Winnipeg Police Service were investigating an incident at Assiniboine Park on Saturday morning, February 26, 2022.

Members of the Forensics Unit were on scene gathering evidence around a lone vehicle in the parking lot just inside the gates to the park at Corydon Avenue and Shaftsbury

Police were called to the area around 3:30 am but have not released details of the incident.

Officers had the parking lot secured and the entrances strung with police line tape until shortly after 2:00 pm when a tow truck arrived to remove the vehicle that was a subject in their investigation.
