Winnipeg’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating an early morning shooting on Saturday, July 2, 2022, on Corydon Avenue.
Police say that around 2:00 am they responded to a shooting outside a nightclub in the 700 block. The investigation has determined that a patron was asked to leave the premises and pointed a firearm at security as he exited. Once the suspect was a short distance from the club he fired the gun, got into a vehicle and fled.
Police are investigating if there are any other victims as a result of the incident.
