Winnipeg Police are investigating a homicide after being called to the 400 block of Victor Street for the report of an injured male.

It happened early Christmas morning, December 25, 2018.

When officers arrived on scene just before 7:30 am they located male in critical condition. Paramedics took the man to hospital but he soon died of his injuries.

Police have cordoned off the back lane between Victor and Toronto Streets as the investigation continues.
