Winnipeg Police Service officers, including members of the tactical support team, responded to an apartment block in the 600 block of Spence Street around 10:15 pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021,for the report of an assault.

Police say that the incident involved several people who were known to each other but could not provide any other information as the investigation is ongoing.

At least one person was taken into custody but charges have yet to be laid.
