Winnipeg Police say that the stabbing victim in the Friday morning assault near Portage Avenue and Sherbrook Street has died from his injuries.
Police have identified the victim as Robert James Forbister. He was 33-years-old.
Investigators are asking that businesses in the area of the assault to check their surveillance video for Friday morning between 4:00 am and 4:30 am June 19, 2020.
Police are also asking anyone who may have been in the area during the same time period and has information that can be of help to them to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
