RCMP investigating a fatal collision on Pine Creek First Nation on Sunday December 27, 2020.
Around 8:15 pm officers responded to a collision between vehicle and a pedestrian. The 40-year-old male victim was transported to hospital in critical condition but died en route.
The driver of the vehicle, a 59-year-old male from Pine Creek First Nation remained at the scene and called police. He had been travelling pn Provincial Road 272 when the collision occurred.
The investigation is continuing but police say that neither alcohol or speed played a factor in the collision.
