Winnipeg Police are investigating the 45th homicide of 2022.
Around 2:20 am on November 5, officers responded to the report of a man being shot in the 2oo block of McDermot Street.
When police arrived on the scene they found a 21-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Police and paramedics provided emergency medical aid. The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but he did not survive his injuries.
Police say that at this time no arrests have been made.
