Winnipeg Police are looking into the 44th homicide of 2022 after an injured male was found in the 100 block of Johnson Avenue West early October 31, 2022. This death ties the 2019 record for the most amount of homicides in a single year.
Police say that officers located an unresponsive man on the ground at around 2:29 am. Officers began emergency medical care while waiting for paramedics to arrive. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.
