Winnipeg Police Service is investigating the city’s 23rd homicide of 2020 after a 43-year-old male was stabbed in the Tim Hortons parking lot at Lagimodiere Boulevard and Fermor Avenue.

Officers were called to the scene just before 5:30 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2020. The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but soon died from his injuries.

Police have identified the victim as Ryan Kelly Legary.
