Winnipeg Police are investigating a stabbing incident at a Portage Avenue hotel late Monday night, January 24, 2022.
Officers were called to the hotel in the 200 block around 11:30 pm and located a male in his 20s suffering from a stab wound. The officers initiated emergency medical assistance.
Paramedics transported the victim to hospital in critical condition but he has since been upgraded to stable.
The Major Crimes Unit have taken over the investigation.
