Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit is investigating the death of 27 year old William George Sumner.
Sumner was found by emergency crews Sunday night around 6:15 pm after receiving a report of an injured man in the front yard of a residence in the 600 block of Prichard Avenue.
Sumner was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
