Winnipeg police are investigating a shooting that took place overnight.
Just after 1:00pm on Friday September 8, 2017 police were called to the 600 block of Balmoral Street for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The man was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Winnipeg’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating and is looking for any information that may help them with the case.
