A-39-year-old man is dead following a shooting on Sandy Bay First Nation on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
Manitoba First Nations Police responded to the shooting outside a home in the community around 6: 30 am. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP Major Crime and Forensic Identification units are assisting in the investigation.
Officials say that the shooting does not appear to be random.
