A Unicity taxi and a dark-coloured sedan are both out of commission after colliding at the intersection of Broadway and Sherbrook Street in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 18, 2021.
Police and first responders were called to the scene around 1:45 in the morning.

The cab had come to rest straddling the small median near the centre of the roadway on the east side of the intersection, bleeding fluids into the roadway from its ruined front end.
The sedan landed on the nearby traffic island, facing east, with parts from both vehicles strewn around the intersection.
Police kept Broadway between Sherbrook and Furby streets closed to thru traffic for several hours for clean-up and investigation.
It’s unknown if there were any serious injuries.
