Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) is investigating a shooting that happened in Sandy Bay First Nation.
Police say that on December 6, 2023, just after 11:00 pm, officers were called to a home in the 100 block of Main Street for the report of a man who had been assaulted. When police arrived they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm along with other injuries. he was taken to hospital.
Police believe the victim may have been injured at another location.
