Winnipeg Police Service has identified the homicide found in a Main Street apartment suite on March 19, 2024.
Police had been called to the 800 block around 9:15 am for the report of an unresponsive man. The victim was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the victim is 24-year-old Murdo Baker from South Indian Lake who was living in Winnipeg at the time of his death.
Police are looking for 28-year-old Dyson Irvin Sumner. Sumner is considered dangerous and should not be approached. He is wanted for Second Degree Murder.
