Winnipeg Police have identified the 45th homicide victim of 2022.
Around 2:20 am on November 5, police responded to the 200 block of McDermot Avenue after receiving reports of a male being shot.
When officers arrived they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Police and paramedics provided emergency care at the scene and the victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but he soon died from his injuries.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Tristan James Raynard Asham.
No arrests have been made at this time.
