Police identified a suspect in Saturday morning shooting

Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit investigators have identified a 19-year-old male in connection to the multiple shootings outside Spades Lounge and Hookah Bar on Portage Avenue.

Police were called to the area around 1:15 am Saturday August 1, 2020 after three people had been shot and critically injured. The victims in the shooting, a female and two males have been upgraded to stable condition say police.

Carson Ray McIvor is wanted by police for his alleged involvement. An arrest warrant has been issued for multiple firearms and assault charges.

McIvor is described as standing 5’9″ tall and weighing about 230 pounds.

Police warn that McIvor is considered dangerous and must not be approached. Anyone with information on where he may be is asked to call 911 or the Major Crime Unit at (204) 986-6219. Those wishing ro remain anonymous can also call Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-8477.
