Winnipeg police are investigating the stabbing of a 45-year-old male near Balmoral Street and Ellice Avenue on Thursday night, April 22, 2021.
Police say they responded to the area around 11:00 pm and located the victim. The officers administered first-aid by applying a life-saving tourniquet before paramedics arrived on the scene. He was taken to hospital in unstable condition but later upgraded to stable.
No arrests have been made.
Police continue to investigate.
