Winnipeg Tactical Support Team executed an arrest warrant at a home on Talbot Avenue on Saturday morning, April 9, 2022.
Police arrived on scene and surrounded the house near Eaton Street using the armoured ARV vehicle, tactical and general patrol officers. People inside the home were ordered out and a number of flash bangs could be heard being set off.
Shortly after 11:00 am officers breached the home and one person was taken into custody.
Officers, along with a Police Service Dog searched the residence.
In an email to News 4 police said the incident was part of an investigation but they had no other information at this time to release.
