Norway House RCMP has arrested and charged a 30-year-old male in connection to the killing of a 25-year-old female.
Police say that on Sunday, October 3, 2021, they received a request to check on the well-being of a female at a home on Provincial Road 373. The caller believed the female was being assaulted. When officers arrived they located the female suffering from serious injuries. She was taken to hospital but did not survive her injuries.
Police have charged Don Travis Forbister from Norway House with Second Degree Murder for his alleged involvement. He was detained in custody.
Police continue to investigate.
