Police charge man with multiple Flora Avenue stabbings

A 30-year-old man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly stabbed three other people during an altercation in the 700 block of Flora Avenue.

According to police the suspect and victims knew each other and had been together when a dispute escalated.

Police found a male in his 30s and two females in their 20s all suffering from stab wounds. The male and one of the female victims were taken to hospital in unstable condition but have since been upgraded to stable. The other victim was taken to hospital in stable condition.

The accused was found near Selkirk Avenue and McKenzie Street. He was also suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to hospital in unstable condition, treated then released back into police custody.

Desmond Michael Anderson has been charged for his alleged involvement with three counts of Assault with a Weapon and five counts of Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order.

He was detained in custody
