Two youth got to experience the cold metal of handcuffs as police demonstrated how clever they could be.

It all started on January 29, 2017 when two male suspects robbed a pizza delivery driver in the 200 block of Oakview Avenue around 2:30 in the morning. Allegedly one of the suspects called the pizza business and placed an order with the intentions of robbing the victim.

The next day on January 30, 2017 the suspects robbed two men who had responded to an online ad to purchase an iPhone. According to police one of the suspects was armed with a machete.

On February 8, 2017, investigators responded to an online ad regarding the sale of an iPhone. Arrangements were made to meet in the same area as the previous incident.

This time the two male youths  were met by officers with the crime unit, patrol units and a police dog. They were taken into custody.

Officers found the suspects were in possession of a large machete and a revolver style pellet gun.

A 15 year old and 17-year-old have been charged with robbery and several weapon-related offences.

They were remanded into custody.
