Christopher Matthew Brass in custody
Winnipeg Police captured a man who was considered armed and dangerous on a couple of Canada-wide warrants in the North End Tuesday afternoon.
It happened on Prichard Avenue between McGregor and McKenzie Streets after police blocked off the road mid afternoon.
Multiple police patrol units along with the Tactical unit surrounded the home.
Just after 5:00 pm police notified the media that Christopher Matthew Brass, 34, had been taken into custody without incident.

Police had requested the public’s help in finding Brass on Monday. He was also part of Crime Stoppers most wanted last week.

Police had warned the public not to approach Brass as he was considered “armed and dangerous”. He was wanted on two nation-wide warrants for a number of violent offences including incidents where he is thought to have fired a gun.
