Winnipeg Police Service is asking those involved in the trucking industry to not operate their vehicles on Talbot Avenue as it is not a designated trucking route.
Detours in the area are problematic, say police and contribute to congestion in the area. Police are asking truckers to utilise designated trucking routes in their travels.
Currently road construction between Stadacona Street and Watt Street is expected to continue in the area for the foreseeable future.
