Winnipeg police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man in connection to 21 deliberately set fires to vehicles.
Police say that between August 13 and September 3, 2017, a number of fires were set causing more than $100,000 in damages in the St. James Assiniboia and Assiniboine South areas of the city.
Investigators say that all of the fires were set overnight or in the early morning. Police identified a suspect and took him into custody on September 3, 2017.
Shawn Robert Hall, a resident of Winnipeg, has been charged for his alleged involvement with 21 counts of arson causing property damage and 21 counts of possession of incendiary material
He was detained in custody.
