As News4 told you Winnipeg Police Homicide Investigators had made two arrests in the shooting death of Shania Chanel Chartrand on April 7, 2017. Chartrand was killed on March 12, 2017, while she was in the 200 block of Spence Street.
Lacy Sorokowski, 22,was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder and Possess Controlled Substance for the Purpose Trafficking (Methamphetamine).
Christopher Ryan St. Paul, 24, was also arrested on April 7, 2017. He was charged with Second Degree Murder.

On Tuesday police went to a home in the 200 block of Atlantic Avenue while investigating a robbery that also happened on Atlantic Avenue as well as one that happened in the 1300 block of Main Street.
Three people were arrested in connection to the robberies and two of them have also been charged in connection to the murder of Chartrand.
Tyrone Anthony Chippeway, 22 and Ashley Marie Bezecki, 27, have also been charged with Second Degree Murder in connection to their alleged involvement in the the death of Shania Chartrand.
They have been remanded into custody.
